Chilly, but still as fun as ever

Hauled the bike out of the garage today and went for a rip. Decided I may as well ride it to work afterwards as well to further charge the battery.

Pretty chilly, but still just as fun as ever. It is nice to be back in the saddle. I think this is the earliest I have ever ridden.

Definitely got some strange looks from alot of drivers out there. :D

Cheers,
Mo

That is good to see! I went to AW for coffee on my bike last Sunday. Like you say, you get some strange looks. :cf2::D

I was trying to map out a route from Farqueir to Passmore. This is on my to do list for this year.

riding a dual-sport on ice is a whole lot safer than riding a snowmobile in the back-country... :shoot:

Depends how many bad drivers are on the road that don't have a clue how to drive when it's snowy and icy....:D

Definitely start a thread on this one Ken. I would be quite interested as well.

I will start a thread, but for now this is just the Okanagan (Kelowna - Kamloops) people just talking amongst themselves. I still have to find out when the snow has melted enough to let us through.
It would have to be a couple of days. Probably camping overnight? Maybe going as far as Idaho Peak? (above Sandon)

Anyway, this thread is about how "stinkin" cold it still is in the Okanagan!

Idaho Peak, back over the lake at Arrow Park and home from there? Can you go south &/or west from Arrow Park?

I think you can go north to Galena Bay and then to Revelstoke or I believe you can go south to Needles.

You can cross on the ferry at Arrow park which puts you in the Watshan area. I have been north from there to Revelstoke but there were alos a bunch of roads heading south and west. I just don't know where they go...

You so da-ho. :D

Is the Wakefield trail the one down the south side of the mountain?

This here is a motorcycle website so there'll be no talk of non-motorized descents.
