The Weather Window is giving us Saturday but not Sunday and that works pretty good for me. Those 'loopers should see pictures of bikes in the snow!

I'm in and I have a plan!
Clean up dashboard, ride sno-250, see where new road goes now. Maybe walk a little ways on the parish hill project, then Mike D wants to see where the bridge to nowwhere is, so end the day with a ride and little walk up there.
Meet at Vedder Cafe for 08:00?

Neil...if you are talking about the new logging road right accross the road from the campground.....it dead ends. Pat and I went up there a few weeks back.

Pete you are sadly mistaken, that road does not dead end, it cuts across a trail called sno250 the road is probably hiding the entrance, I will try and gps the trail this saturday and post, this is a nice trail that you missed. That road also crosses the Tamihi Connector Trail also hidden while the logging is going on. I dont have the final details but most of the logging will be heli logging and should be finished in 5-6 week, when they are finished we are negotiating for the logging road to be decomissioned into a access trail. The good news for this area is there are no plans to return for 7-8 years

right now because of the logging road its hard to find if you dont know its there, after the logging is done we will make sure it is marked properly.

That was a fine day (weather-wise maybe even nicer than Moab) and it resulted in a very long, peaceful sleep. This trail system is looking great and these work-and-ride parties are getting the results!
