Yeah, I really meant 8:30 at Agassiz, but I think we will not be at the trailhead as early as you. Bill, where are you coming from?

The Mythical Clear Creek Hotspring to Spuzzum Creek FSR really exists:clap:

This week end5 of us thought we would try and hike the old grade. Bill and Peter rode their bikes to the end of Clear Creek hotsprings road and hiked East towards Spuzzum Creek and Niel Mike and Tom rode to the end of Spuzzum FSR and hiked down. To all of our surprise we meet in the middle.

The grade is very old, washed out and grown in :(It will require a lot of work to make it passable again by motorcycle or quad. You will see what I mean when you see the pictures.

We will post pictures and the GPS route soon for anyone who may be interested in finding their way through. Was a very nice hike.

Tom

Here are some of the pictures from the Spuzzum FSR side

Here we are at the od Spuzzum gas station site

The last couple of kms of FSR are really grown in

We cleared the last km of road where it was really bad, ez to get a bike to the end now, but it would be nice to get this stuff cleaned up a bit

This creek can be a real foot soaker in the spring time, but after the snow melts this is whats left

Here is a view look down the valley to Clear Creek

The hot spring are at he bottom of the second ridge on the right, about 1.5 kms

Look up at the boys above, this section is about 200 feet of big rocks, not impossible but a lot of work required here. To get from this point from the end of the fsr would just require a bunch of clearing.

Funny, once you get out of the grown in stuff this is what you have. Clear Creek is in the background this is kind of an overview of the valley

We finished the day back at Friend Mikes and I squeezed the bus into a parking spot by the entrance, we were tired and didn't feel like walking across the parking lot
