after talking to a couple of riders ,seems nov 8 may be the best day.its an ''intermediate''trials type of ride ,with all welcome(you will need a trials bike).figure a little extra gas if your on a two stroke as with a few rests its a 4 hour ride.post up if your interested meet at 10;30 at the power station on jingle pot road,easy to find off the nanaimo parkway

i edited the org post ,10;30 at the power station on jingle pot road(both ends of jingle pot rd are off the nanaimo parkway.)

Iam planning on coming down island for the ride if the weather is not too disgusting. Any sort of idea as to how many yet? There is'nt gonna be too much logging road riding is there:(

i'm guessing 7-10 bikes,but again all are invited.there is no logging roads,its all purpose built trials bike trails.most is in the trees so weather isn't much of a concern,the rest is riding up and along bluffs where the views start.

Is it possible for you to post up exact directions for those of us (could be 4-5) riders from the south island who have never been there before.... We do know where Jingle Pot rd is. Just which direction to go once we exit the Hwy.

Coming from south Get on the Nanaimo Parkway.You will pass the Fifth street exit that goes to V.I.U Get in the left lane the next exit will be the Jingle Pot/ Third street connector Turn left on Jingle Pot Rd. Follow the road for about 3KM You will come to the power station It is at Jingle Pot & E Wellington Rd.

Ok guys, it looks like we will have at least 4 riders for sure from the south island!!! So, if any of you need any GG parts delivered, call Dave Fair before Sunday as he is one of the 4!

I'm out it seems that H1N1 is making its way through the house and I am to limit my contact with others to slow the spread, that and I have been sick in bed all week and don't have the strenght to load the bike let alone ride.:( Take some good pictures and post up.
