where did you get them?  the only thing i can find is ordering them online in the states.

Hi franhoser,

If you want to check out the Giant Loop bags you should drop by Maple Ridge Motorsports. They are pretty close to you and last I talked to Troy (last week) they had a Giant Loop Coyote in black on the KTM 530 EXC so you can check it out in real life. Pacific Yamaha BMW also has the Coyote in stock, and the bigger Great Basin for bigger bikes with passenger pegs.

No adding of any racks to deal with so it's lighter and there's nothing to bend or break. It's also there when you want it and completely gone when you don't.

Alternatively I will also have all of the Giant Loop bags with me at the Spring Newbie ride for everyone to look at and try on their bike if they want.

Thanks,

Dave

Hey folks,

Just thought I'd chime in on the bag topic. I purchased the Giant Loop bag last spring and used it all last summer. Great bag and easy to use. My version required bolting onto the bike, but now it's a buckle/strap system that doesn't need any drilling. I too was looking at all the different options out there and chose the Giant Loop. I wish I'd waited for the new model to come out, though! The bag is now made out of a better, more waterproof material, and the zipper opening is bigger. They made this awesome bag even better...And like I said, no drilling required. And the GL guys are great to deal with...

For longer items like tent poles, I strap them to the outside of the bag. The straps are super-long, so you can cinch down various items even when the bags are full. For my sleeping pad, I use a ultralight and small Thermarest model which will easily fit inside of the Giant Loop bag.

The Giant Loop along with a waterproof duffel on the rear rack hold more than I need for a typical weekend camping trip on my DR650...
