Kool man!!

I guess by spending some cash , anything is possable. I was concerned about reliability after doing "extreme" mods .

if i was to do it over again to a modern dr 650 for good gains'' dyno jet kit'' free flow'' air filter'' uni or k+n'' good pipe'' supertrapp cobra yosh. safe to stay with a pipe wich is U.S.F.S approved any thing but stock just to heavy and dont breath .as forthe cam and piston they are very reliable no need to change.these simple mods will make any dr 650 owner very happy without to much strain on budget . when i built my bike in93 it was a lot of trial and error to get it to that point. you could say i pulled the pin on the grenade once or twice :shock:there was no such thing as a thumper kit so you were on youre own . the bike has since been retired to the dark corner in the garage. :(. the new kid in town is a drz 400 with a 440 thumper kit because stock is boring. SOLD !!

Hi chris unfortunatly there has never really been a huge selection of after market parts for these early 650 91-95 .as time goes on there gets less aftermarket they are great bikes damn near bullet proof and a great buy these days as for parts for sale i dont have anything that would be any good to you mostly broken stuff . try ebay, buy+ sell there is parts on ebay all the time .you can use chassis, engine, exhaust, from 91-9594- 95 was the only years for electric start unless it was a RS model body parts will not interchange thru all years. as for bike for sale i actually own two of them both 93 1 bone stock 300km and the otherheavily modified with lots of miles 3 rebuilds 1 engine case replacedi have so much $ invested in the modified one i could not even beginto start listing it and i dont think i would get what it is worth. as for the stock one at this time i could not sell it. i like them to much. the trailer i still haveit needs finishing deck and tool box just never got around to do it . too much riding i guess i always used a enclosed trailer for holidays and long trips so i never really used the open trailer much. here is the picture you ask for the only onei had. i will keep my eyes open for a pipe RAY.

Now what I cant figure out is, a drz650 already makes insane power, why the heck more? I am more than content with the power of my drz400s, (well, its my dads).

you guys are crazy, lol.

racinray, have you gotten youre 650 up to its redline yet? cuz that thing just sounds like a little fiend. and how much does it weigh, the 400 i ride is heavy enough, almost too heavy for sand and my not fully developed strength. And thumpers are known for thier torque, I mean, that thing must haul it.

any ways, i'm just board, thats really the only reason I replied to this, if you want to see more of my bordem, go look at the pictures

the DR 650 over the years has been well into the redline but two things would always come of it i would break it or break me so now it is just used for its intended use to dual sport and have fun and save the tuff stuff for my little smoker. but back in the day with all the mods i would run a 15/46 gearing and it was a wheelie monster the bike weighs in at 365 dry plus aprox 60 # of fuel its a handful .
