Is this strictly for dual purpose guys, or am I welcome with my strictly off road, WR250?

If you ride the Hard Route you can do that with your not licenced motorcycle, you will however be using some Forest Service Road that require that you have some kind of 3rd party liability insurance.

The second half of the loop that is not posted, uses the main road back to the campsite, any non licenced dirt bike riders will have to backtrack the route to the campsite, thats more fun than riding the pavement anyhow.

I will be coming out, I will be riding from Mission, through Abby and onto the #1. Anyone else taking that route? If not, see you guys at 0830hs!

Hi Martin, I'll be riding in from mission as well on my wr250, lets meetup.

My Wr250r is only good for 175-200km range it seems. Will this be adequate or should I be carrying fuel? This ride will be a perfect break in...... (350km on the odometer so far) :0)

Regardless of the weather - the coffee & food will be hot, the trails will be entertaining, and faces will all have smiles.

Riding in the wet hasn't made me melt or shrink... YRMV

Supposed to be TORRENTIAL RAINS on Saturday night and into Sunday....might be a brief ride!
This reminds me of the first Newbie Ride we put on years ago. Dreadful weather, rain coming down sideways. I drove out & was shocked to arrive to a full parking lot of eager

Well, Chris was right. No dust anywhere!! Despite the embarrassing wetness, had a great time and am very glad I didn't miss it just because of a little wind and rain. Thanks to all the Volunteers, Organizers, and Sponsors for yet another great day of riding with a fantastic group of people. These rides wouldn't be possible without the efforts of many generous people that work (for free!!) to put on events like this. Thanks also to the great folks that fed us at the beginning and end of the ride!

Great ride today, nice meeting everyone. Thanks so much to the volunteers that made this possible, I appreciate the hard work and effort you all put in. Looking forward to the Spring Newbie and anything in between... :)

Was a great ride even with the rain. Thanks to all the organizers and volunteers for the food and fun. Picked up my 2013 trail pass and a stylish new toque. After today, I think I'm of the opinion that it should be illegal for any company to claim any riding gear is "waterproof". Also! some pics for the ride (hope this works)

What rain?
Yes, if anyone said there waterproof gear kept them dry I want what you have. The hard loop was hard, and I must say the big 990r only needed help 2 times that I can recall. Man can that thing chuck the dirt a long way. Thanks for the test ride on that big bad monster!!!!!
Thanks to all for a great day and the warm food.
Hope all made it home safely.
