dualsport bikes

I checked out the new 08 KLR 650 at the motorcycle show they did all the mods to it and the price is only going to be 100.00 more. There is less suspension travel but looks like they made some good improvements including the dohicky, three colors to choose fromlooks like a comfortable bike at a good price, probably sell lots of these bikes .The other nice looking bike was the DR 650 in black. Iam a xr rider but i would own either one of these dualsport bikes, if i had the money why not have all three.

I took a good look at the 08 KLR650 over at the Vancouver show. Sat on it and moved it around a bit. I liked it so when I got back to the Island I went to Spunkys and put a deposit on one. First 2008 KLR650 they sold. I Use to have a BMW F650GS until a drunk driver ran into me. I did notice that a number of riders on here really dumped on the new KLR style etc. Well after I pick it up in April, I'll take it out get it dirty, ride it somewhat hard after all it is a KLR, and if I don't like it I can throw it down, jump on it a few times, pour gas over it and light it up. Then go out and try a different bike. Hey it's only money might as well spend it.

I like your style Rydr! We all look forward to your advanced reviews of the new beast. For the record, what colour did you go for?

Yea I ordered a green. I figured that if I got sick and thru up while riding it no one would notice. After I thrash it around a bit I'll do a review. Ride hard and keep the dirty side up.
