I assume there are a LOT of gas stations on that route, affecting your choice.

You really need to buy a GAS tank for that thing.:p

Good weatherand now my insurance runs out Oct 10th. My season is shot down due tomy cheapness in not insuring longer.Time to fire up the pc.It will be Moto CrossiMadness gaming for me now.The "other" bike is still insured hmm... plate switch..in a fair insurance world, this switch should not cost me. Have a good ride.

Joker trucks that KTM everywhere, no reason the Suzi cannot be trucked.

I'd love to go up the back of Mobley to get to Crowfoot but it's a long, brushy, tight ride. Probably not so good on a 300km day.

We can easily ride down to Scotch Creek on FSRs and ride up the front of Crowfoot. That's big bike friendly and lots of fun.

I would also suggest SunPeaks to Adams Lk as part of the route?

I'll get the maps out and see what the distances really are. How far can the JokerPooFlinger go between gas stations? :p

Hopefully we will have time for a short fire and hotdog stop somewhere. Everyone plan on being out ALL day!

I'll edit this and add that although I hope it's a long day, I also hope it to be a big bike friendly day and there's no reason that all kinds of bikes can't come along.

(Ray, how about the Sheep Trail on the Norge?)

'Poo-Flinger' will be able to make 200k between stops. I will bring the extra 5L tank.....or should I just rely on u "Tankers";)

And I would suggest Ray get a 1 day permit....or swap plates:ted:

Hey DR650:

I was in the same boat - I just broke down and bought 3 months more insurance. Now I can ride on Christmas Day - Ya who!

But when shopping for insurance thelady said a one day permit costs around $27 bucks - unlimited kms! You can go in a couple days prior in buy your permit for the day you want to ride.

So .... See ya on the 11th bud!

OK, here's a possible route. It is almost all gravel/dirt. It is big bike friendly - you can bring the buffalos. It has the Momich valley in as requested. I've been on all of this so we shouldn't get too lost.

The yellow is the main route. The purple shows a couple of options.

The main route is 370km. It is 170km from Scotch Crk (gas) around the loop and back to Scotch Crk.

I didn't add in Crowfoot as it would be too long a day. Depending on the bikes that show up, we can discuss Crowfoot as an option on ride day.

Yer thoughts and comments are welcome. :hf::hf:

Nice work! That should work for all bike sizes and shapes. I'm in for a more technical ride anytime as well, I've never been rippin' up Crowfoot but would love to check itout before the snow flies.

See you on the 11th!

The Halston Esso, the one on the southside of the road is good.....what time?

If people would rather, we could run the LS A route instead....will soon have the old girl ready to rip.

I think it's gonna be a long day. We should leave fairly early. I propose 8:30 departure. If it starts to get too cold we could put that off an hour or so.
