Was there been any changes from 2009 fe570's to 2010? I know the 2011 is street legal. Starting to find some old stock out there for a lot less than the 2011.

The 2011 have updated forks as well....but for the average user the old ones are still top notch. The 2010's come with a headlight, 2009 only has a number plate. The triple clamps have a different offset for 2010. Google the specs and you can find out the details. I think the camchain tensioner was updated for 2010 as well. If you can get a good deal on the pre-2011 and get the dealer to register it before you leave the shop, the electrical bits to make it street legal aren't that expensive. I did all oem parts on my 09 fe450 in an afternoon. Hope that helps.

I know a certain shop in the lower mainland that has a 09 FE570 already plated and ready to go with only 400km's on it. Great deal for someone looking to get one of these bikes!

I talked to Bill at 5th Gear in Richmond yesterday. He told me he still has two 2009 Demo Beta's for sale, completely street legal, you will have a plate on it before you walk out of his shop. I bought a 400RR from him about 6 months ago and I couldn't be happier with it. The Beta is an excellent bike and it really excels on the gnarly single track trails; in my opinion it's the best dualsport bike you can get for that kind of riding. If you aren't absolutely determined to get a 'Berg check out the Beta; you can't go wrong with one.
