By the way Berg fans I went to the FR3 in Gunnison Colorado in September and got to flog all the brand new 2010 models on a track and in the bush. Simply amazing and there is no comparison to any other bike on the market. The new engine and frame make our old bikes pigs in comparison. I loved the 390 but only if the riding was single track or woods otherwise the 570 is almost as easy to ride with way more torque.

Mid september ish. I got a 3 bike trailer. A week is all a body can take for riding down there (altitude is a killer) I'll get a hold of my friends from Arizona and see if they still plan on it. Also the fly fishing in Gunnison peaks mid September. It's awesome!

maddtrapper, would it be a full week trip? I have to earn enough brownie points with the wife to go. Plus I'm going down to Baja for the 1000. I'm going to prerun the race with a buddy that's actually racing it this year.

But I am serious about going.

Ok so here's the latest. Now everyone wants to go to Xtinction in August instead...but we are still discussing it.

If you go to Colorado you have to go for at least a full week because it takes about 2-3 days before you can even breath down there. I got my ass handed to me last time. I was pretty out of shape though.

Ya for myself I'd much rather watch the race on DVD and go riding somewhere. I got the whole month of september off and the first week or 2 are dedicated to fly fishing on the Island but thenI am going somewhere with the bikes. Xtinction is not a possibility for me.
