Have to do instead of the rain dance...the snow melt dance to get that snow off the WOSS/GR connector:clap:.... to get you and islandhopper over to this side of the island....Mrs.Bajaman is getting her parts in on Monday for her bike(going to CR in nice warm Toyota)....so the DRZ won't be so lonely on those long rides.

But what a beautiful time of year to ride as the scenery is most awesome. Have you ever tried an electric vestor heated grips? With one or both of these your ride is like having a heaterin your truck versus not having heat. The vets usually draw approx fourty amps not sure about the grips (probably the same) so if you dont use your high beam you'd will be OK. But what a huge difference when you only need a t-shirt then the vest one fleece and a good shell the cut the wind and your not bundled up like the Pilsbury Boy but are toasty warm. One hundred percent difference, their will be no going back.

My poor DRZ won't handle the extra power from a vest and heated grips without rewiring the stator:shock:.My wife has an upgraded startor on her CRF and has a vest wired in..she loves it:tup:.I dressed warm....plus I'm stubborn:mad3: so I wouldn't have turned back...

Masso, you only use the vest while napping in the van. Just hope that the battery runs out before you poach yourself:)

What I got is called an "Air Activated" heating vest made by TechNiche, it uses these little packets of sawdust mixed with rust, totally non-toxic. Each packet is good for about 10+ hours of heat. I put my open ones in a double zip-lock baggie and they keep for weeks like that. I used one pair twice a day for two weeks as a test (and it was cold those weeks).

If you buy the heating packets in bulk, they're less than 50 cents each. I bought my vest through Sound Rider, but later I found them for less at this site:

Just google TechNiche or "air activated heating":ted:
