With Floyd leading Robin and myself, we stepped out of our chambers and did a different kind of distancing, this time measured in miles. The day started out warm and sunny, started out that is. Spoiler! It ended on the other end of the "nice day" spectrum.
Big tanks removed and GL Fandango strapped on. No heated grips, vest or even "I wont need these", warm gloves, not such a smart choice.
not far down long lake rd. the skies opened up for the first time, time to hide for a few minutes. this is the Loops, likely the rain wont last long.
along planet mine rd. the black skies behind us now.
with downed trees and a wall of snow it was u-turn time.

deciding on a left right or turnaround..
(really like this shot, happened to get all four mirrors and the reflection of each of them in their mirror).
and then it got real wet. and very, greasy!
not sure what they were lookin at?
along the backside of stump lake it was time again to hide for a few minutes. or nap..

that's it, thx. boys it was a fun if soggy day. Next time all the roads should be open.
