I was just checkin out different hadnlebars online, and I figured out that I really don't have any idea what bend a 2005 drz400s has.:?. Does anyone know, or can they recommend a suitable replacement? I don't think I have bent my handlebar, but I am just getting prepared for the inevitable.

The most common is the CR Bend and cut 1/2" off each end. The bars are a little straighter and higher than stock, Really helps when standing on the pegs. Check out the DSBC Store http://www.thestore.dualsportbc.com/andPM me if you are interested and I will give you your price.

For comparison purposes the stock bar I took off my03 drz was almost identical to an aftermarket (Answer Aluminum) bar I had that was a CR low bend.

I got the CR Hi Bend...it is higher than the stock by an inch or two. I thought it would be high enough....

No way--at 5'11 with gear, it is still too short--I hunch when I am standing--next bars will definitely be Jimmy button high--waaaay up there!

oh yeah, if you have wider shoulders like me you will like a wide bar and won't cut the ends. The CR is perfect width for me stock, just too short.

I got the Bar Risers from Andy J in Manitoba but they still aren't tal enough for me....I am 6'4". I will be looking for Cr Hi Bend next. For anyone looking for Bar risers I suggest getting a set. They work well and look great.

you don't think they'd be too tall with the risers?

I was told that cr-hi were the highest, i guess i was misinformed.

Thanks
