Hey Sport Fans,
I'm still alive and still goin. Headed southeast from Carmel to south end of Lake Havasu. Lucky I did too with all that fire crap happening on the coast. Then up to the Grand Canyon. Didn't miss any of that wind tho. It battered the crap out of me all the east and north. Temps went from a chilly 4C( at Lake Isabella on the great Kern Canyon Rd.) to down in the desert at 32C. Then as I gradually climbed to about 5800 ft. at the Canyon I started freezin the gonads off again. Had to pull over and get the Canadian gear back on. Found this great eneral Mac's Connie "Baataan" there plus the Val dive bomber used in Tora Tora Tora and Pearl Harbour plus a bunch of other stuff. Tomorrow I'm head for Vegas where I picked up three days at the Circus Circus for $72.00 total. Jsut got back from a dirt ride on a local road here and the tires are definately road tires. Didn't like the washboard at all. Should be able to burn em off before I get home tho and get some knobbies.
