1. I have a 400 Pirate:mad3:

2. No wind buffeting for Pirate cause he's only knee high to a grass hopper:p

3. After many years of Honda V fours, including one that I thinkthe bloke above had as well....powers no problem. Funny it would do 120kms/hr in first gear....my 400 can't go that fast with the gearing I have:shock:

4. TG6 has graciously said I could try the bike as well....only problem is if I do I might get sucked in:?....especially if there's ayellow one available like the first pictures:D

the bike looks great!was travelling with a fellow on an '04 1200GS and he was great on the Island FSRs, but we got into some more serious stuff on Mt Washington and around Sproat Lake/Gracie Lake which really made him notice the weight! he went thru some tough stuff but managed tocatchup with us on the 400s and 650s! FYI - watch out for the weak latch mechanism if you've got the top piece of luggage on -his ended up in the bushes (lucky the guy behind him didn't end up with 1200GS tattooed on his body)! also, if you drop on the side luggage, you may have to take the whole piece apart to realign the gears inside for the expansion functions. i'd agree with the assessment on fire roads, logging roads and highways - whenever it was clear sailing, us 400s and 650s were no match!
