Honda XL500s

Just picked up this 1979 XL500s the other day. Been sitting in a barn for 20 years.

Going to strip it down to run it as an ORV only.

The idea is to get it up and running for the Odessa D100 and race in the '86 and older class.

Sprockets on it now are 14/41. Does anybody know what would be a good rear sprocket size to go with on the back?

Going to just be using bike on trails after the race and topping out at 80km will be fine.

Update on what the bike looks like now. 5 weeks to Odessa :clap:
I went with a stock 14 tooth up front and 51 tooth rear.
