If it is street legal why the pain to register it?

How many km on a tank of gas?

the aftermarket tank on hers looks HUGE.....likely she can out range a stock KLR easily would be my guess with the tank on that thing.

Yet it does not feel too wide or bulky, seems like a nice aftermarket tank.

If the bike sat about 6 inches taller so it was not cramped feeling ;)she may not have gotten it back on Monday. :D

I am surprised how much they could lower it, feels very very small after riding the pig.

Registration - it was actually imported as "competition use only", but the street legal kit was added in Canada, so to ICBC it looks like it was a converted dirtbike.

The problem was more with the ICBC staff who just didn't look at all the paperwork to see that the inspection was done and everything was in order. Stupid people make for a long, frustrating day. :mad3:

But it's on the road now, no problem!

Fuel - I had the 20L tank added on, to help bring the weight of the bike down and under me more (that's my story and I'm stickin to it). I don't know exact km's yet, because I had a little spill, but will keep you posted. I'll know after the Loose Screw this weekend.

Hey Bill, it's Paul from Chilliwack, the guy with the 2 little kids that you babysat while I rode your bike, thanks again. :hb: (although my wife wasn't too pleased with me leaving the kids with a stranger)

Do you have any 610's left? You only had one the day I was there. If so what's the out the door the price (pdi + taxes)? I just sold one of my cars, got money, but can't decide what to blow, err I mean invest,it on next.

As others have said, this bike has balls and brakes (I ride a KLR). I got to ride it on a narrow trail, 2nd gear, not really eventful. But it wasn't til I was driving home in the truck that it dawned on me that the offroad portion of the ride was uneventful because the bike (and me) didn't break a sweat, but if I had doneit on my KLR, it would've been a workout, wrestling that softly sprung, heavy pig around.

I have one left . I also have 1 more at the store in Washington. I might sell the demo TE 610 but I don't really want to I like riding it too much.

There $7899 plus $250 for licencing and then tax. No hidden fees or any of that irritating stuff.

Oooohh, yeah, she loves to climb! And the Husky makes it look easy!
This is the top of a series of climbs in the north end of Kamloops (Bachelor or La du Bois). Lots of places to play out here!

I can vouch for its climbing abilities...the thing rips up hills.

Even really steep hills, that I cannot get a run at, because maybe ( just maybe ;)) I had to try it from there to lend a hand to someone once :p

Hey there, i'm looking around to get a dualsport in a few months and the 610 looks like a great bike to me, i'm looking for a bike that's able to do longer trips and is reliable, how far do you like yours as far as reliability goes?

My last bike was a ktm 495GS and i rode my brothers 620 GS also, loved how it powerslided around corners while standing, (old ralley bike), but i found the vibe's terrible on longer trips, in fact my two stroke was more comfortable!

I'm trying to make up my mind, thinking about a KTM 640 adventure, a 610 TE, or a 690 with bigger tank, but i like big bikes as far as seatheight goes, would you be able to share your experiences on your TE to help me out on this?

Thanks iggster
