Hey i was wondering what the te 250 is like is it all you need or do you wish you would have got the te 450.I guess one thing would be lower insurance cost and maybe its alittle bit lighter.

I am happy with the 250 as I bought it for tight trails with short pavement rides in between (I have a bigger bike for fire roads etc.) If I had to have one bike it would have to be the 450 or bigger....

What size are you? I am 5'9 250lbs with gear and thought that the 250 might be a bit too small, but I would only really be using it in the bush. Roads are just a means to get there as I have no truck or trailer.

I'm 6'1" and about 210, the little 250 is fine, but you do have to keep it on the boil to make things happen. There is not much there below 5,000 rpm.

For a little more power than the 250 here is the new 310 that is on the way....

That would be perfect! Keeps it in the lower insurance bracket and has a bit more power to haul around my extra girth.

Miller, is that your 610 I see parked at the mill every so often?

Hey!

Yep, that's me. I'm a machine room monkey and usually ride it a few days a week to work. Are you a millbilly as well?

I'm not a 'millbilly'but I getthere every week or two. I work in the computer room with Dan and Tim and Craig. I often see Dreadnought there as well as he works as some sort of chemist/evil doctor in the lab. Do you know Ray?

We should get out on the trail one of these days.

Hey that was the machine room monkey's new wheels during shutdown. Good to see you got it on the road. Great looking machine. The parking lot is getting full this year, I think motorcycling is starting to take off in our region.

Hey Guys (and girls!),

I've got a question about importing a 2008/9 TE450 into Canada. I will be living in the USA for an entire year, and want a bike to ride while I'm down there.

Obviously I would like to get a Husky, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to bring the bike back with me to Canada and register it here.

I will be registering the bike in the US and riding it on the road. Does anyone know if I'll be able to bring it to Canada when I get back? Would a dealership like 5thgear be able to help me with the paperwork (for an administrative fee, of course!)?

Thanks!
