Thank for all the nice comments guys. I'm very happy with her and am working on fitting some super-moto wheels on her. Looks like I need to make up a few parts like front and rear caliper adapters, wheel spacers, smaller rear sprocket and shorter chain. Soon to be a "TRI-SPORT".

Don't bother making anything Husky sells the motard kit for $1500 comes with a complete Brembo brake system , off set triples , rims , wheels all ready laced . It's twice the quality and half the price of converting any other brand.

Run the shit out of it . Husky's are not built like those other brands. He has 2 years to wreck that engine. husky's warrenty department is the best in the business and I've worked for all of them.

Then why do they stop short at only 2 years? :D

The bike I just sold,( XR650R Plated ) only had a 6 month warrenty. :(I did'nt need to have any warrenty work done to it but I only rode her a few times during that time ( Oct. to April ). That honda is well built and is a real powerhouse but the Husky has comparable hp @ 54hp, 40 lbs lighter, kick and electric start, top of the line suspension, ect, ect,.... and a 2 YEAR WARRENTY:tup:

I think Husky is back on track like they were in the 70's, not the 80's and 90's when they seemed to have dropped the ball. I think the japanees bike builders saw and learned what Husky and other Euro bike builders were doing in the 70's but kept advancing in tech but Husky just lagged behind. Husky did have some world class wins during the 80's and 90's including the first open class four stroke to take 1st place in major events ( this was before yamaha 4 strokes started to climb to the top of moto x ). Husqvarna, the motorcycle manufacturer, has been bought and sold but they have been in buisiness making motorcycles for 102 years!!!

A lot of people are getting interested in the new Huskies and more and more are sold in North America these days. Parts, aftermarket stuff, no problem:).I am very happy with the quality of this bike and the sound of it is awesome, not loud, but it sounds like a wolf growling:X. Must be the 12.9:1 compresion and Arrow exhaust system (stock).

I do plan on running the s**t out of her but she will never be neglected.

I can't answer that but the dealer says no problem. I paid a little extra to have her

plated and I'm waiting for the paperwork to becompleted so I can register and insure her for the road. :dr:

I have had a little time to look her over closely and I must say, This bike is designed well and the quality is "top notch". There isn't anything done half a**ed. All the welds are perfect, component fitting is exact:ted:. Checking and adjusting valves are no sweat and the valve train is dual overhead cams with bucket and shim design with a twist. No need to pull the cams when adjusting, just slide a little finger out of the way and change the shim!! ( I heard that KTM has now copied the design in there new 4 strokes with the " New revolutionary valve train".

The snow has melted on my street now. I think I will take her out and go for a few rips up and down my streel:cool:

with moving up north, I'm starting to look around for something more 'dirt' biased....where / who is the Husky dealer in bc? Found the HuskyUSA website, and the 510 SM looks more or less like what I've been considering. ( HusabergFS55E SM, GasGas Sm450,Aprilia SVX 5.5, etc)

looking for a play bike, with gobs of power, not a workhorse - I'll have the Buell for 'adventure' stuff.
