Seems kind of weird to me but the roads are clear and it seems like the sun is warn, air temperature is way above zero. I know its to soon now but what is the earliest you have insured the bike for riding in the North by Northwest?

Sounds good to me. I am gone for a while in march but will have the lady all farkled up for spring. Got new pegs, a real gps, some knock off metal cases and even washed her last fall. Better than ever maybe. I think I will be back near the end of March and ready to ride.

I am not sure what your sending but I willbuy you a beer....:hb:

Spring better hurry up and come I am getting a little tired of this minus double digits. :wi: Just got some more bike stuff in the mail today. Off work todayso I think I will do some upgrades to the KLR. Sub frame upgrade and the metal Panniers.

With the wife away, the kitchen becomes a nice warm place to work... Sh! don't tell anyone. Anyways I need to extend the wires to the tail lights with the modifications required to fit the knock off happy trail bags to the racks I have. Does any one know where to get the little pin fitting that fit into the standard KLR connectors?

Nothing like 6inches of fresh snow to dampen one spirits. I woke up this morning hope to do a bit of work on my bike and perhaps fire it up and take it for a spin around the block, and BAM WTH!!!! snow...

Lets all say a little prayer or make a wish or something to have this winter turn into real spring, thinking of getting the tag this week sometime so I am going to ride somewhere soon.

Glad your back in one tanned piece I am sure. Probably head to your neck next weekend. Having a bit of trouble selling the KLR, who woulda thunk it?

Maybe soon we will have to rip out to the natural hot springs up the nass, at least we would be warm for a while. Hopefully in the next few weeks.

Brought my new bike home March 13, insured that day as it was nice, got to ride around town that night and for the next 2 days, then the snow came back!:mad3:

It was nice last Wed, so I got another 50km toward break-in, then the weather shut the door again!

I'm leaving my'n insured all year as my ICBC portion in only $325. and living on the coast we usuallyget nice days here and there through-out the winter.

Lets hope the warm winds come, so we can all get out. :hb:

Hey man...that's MY bike. Did you see mine there too? Looks good I can't wait to pick mine up from Dan as well.

So how do you like her so far? I heard good things about them so bought one. Tell me EVERYTHING about the ride and all.

YOURbike is behind my right arm, all alone now, waiting for you to come take her home.

They do look good, I'm very happy with my'n, actually I love it!:dr:

As expected, the seat is very firm and I find my butt needs a break after 30-40 min of agressive riding. I'm going to look into an aftermarket seat, or padding.

Power is good, I don't see myself doing any power mods for at least a year or 2. The manuals recommendation of not more than 50% trottle for the first 500k is impossible to live by. It's a blast rippin around town, will have to order some tiresbefore I get off road too much. I think I will order the MCCT, rad guards, and casing guards today. Got the skid plate and hand guards already.

We should get together for a ride if spring ever shows up, I will be in Terrace a fair bit. Also there's the "QCI ride" in June if you can make it. :hb:

QCI will be a more last minute decision but I'd love to! I wish there was some way to cut your arm out of the picture. That's all you have to say...I want more, maybe I'll just have to go get the damn thing.

Ride anytime your here, I got the michelin t63 tire, but am going to put them on after our fraser lake trip since that will be road mostly. What handguards you get? I have't decided on them yet. Got the side covers and skid plate from thumpertalk, should be here this week also an IMS 4 gallon tank so I can hang with them KLR's. Apparently the IMS tank covers the rads so taht will be all the protection I hoepfully need.

Should be a good summer that bike looks awesome, and more fun than I can handle.

Kinda like to keep my arm, but here's a shot with some of your bike in it.

How much for the tank? I think I will just get a rack and pack an extra 2 gallons for the longer rides. I picked up some Cycra hand gaurds and an aluminum skid plate when I was in Van.I learned from myYZ250 that you want ones that come right around and connect into the end of the bars. What else can I say except you shouldgo and get your bike, cause even though its #*%* snowing out, you can still spend quality time with it. I have to be carefull or myfiance gets jealous :wi:
