This is a good time to do the maintenance on the bike. At least you will be near the bike. Buying supplies before had would have been good, since the motor cycle shops will be closed over the holiday's.
Look at the periodic maintenance schedule and pic one or two. I lubed the cables and greased the lubrication points. My projects are to replace the fork oil. I put 7w in and the ride is too firm back to5W. Increasethe jet in the carb.
Would be good to have a garage to work in. Maybe stuff the bike late night in the elevator and bring it to the 18th floor. At least they have a hobby room I can do the forks in once there off the bike.
Research the mods. I have purchased a spring for my rear shock on my street bike. Trying to do thingsmyself with the help from the professionals. Looked into the Race Tech Valving.I can buy the products ie. Gold Valve, seals, but trying to get the shim stack correct is where the proffesiomnal help is needed.
Alleviating the Cabin fever.
If you can't beat the weather join it. I recently metClaude, Shelia and hubby at Cypress mnt. They were out there snow shoeing. Getting in shape and improving your balance is a great way to be a better rider.
