Its almost Easter and its time for Moab

This trip has become somewhat of a yearly pilgrimage for many of us. If you have never been to Moab or dont know what its all about? Check out some of the treads right here on this site, and there are lots of other site to get you excited. I highly recomend this trip as it is only 5 days off of work and you get to do some of the best off road riding in North America (IMO)

Been going there since '92 to mountain bike. Always camped up at Sand Flats BLM or if it is too windy, in town at Slickrock Campground.

April is a nice with the cactus in bloom, but is often windy. Mid-late September is my favorite time to go.

Always wanted to mnt bike ride the White Rim.

You are in for tons of fun!!

Why don't we set up a B team list then. I have a truck trailer and a strong will, who's with me. I hear mid-to late September is were it's really at. ROFL

..... and they are off to Moab! After much activity at my place this morning, loading and unloading bikes and gear, getting everything to fit properly, and getting the seating arrangements all settled, they all drove out of here with huge smiles on their faces.

Scott getting the bikes to fit into the trailer

Tom supervising to make sure everything is right

Neil Mike and Dan getting the trailer loaded

Happy happy smiley faces as they are al set to go

Off they go, they are so focussed on getting to Moab that they don't even see me waving good bye in their rear view mirrors
