Jetting issues

Pulled off my carb to investigate my lousy fuel consumption.( My last tank was 92kms to a tank of gas!!) Found a stock 142.5 main jet and a 27.5 pilot jet. Not sure if the Dj kit was used but am assumingfrom the jetting it was not.

Can the Dj kit be bought locally? Vancouver area?

If you have the DJ needle, you will see notches on the top of the needle to allowyou to change the E clip position. The stock needle does not have this.

Yes, you can get the DJ kit locally. I got it for $60 if I remember correctly.

You can get the DJ kit at ThumperTalk however if you go to http://www.rockymountainmc.com/you can order a K&N kit for a few dollars less. When you get it you will be suprised to find that when you open the box it is the DJ kit they don't even bother to relabel it!

I ride from sea level to over 5000 ft. and I have had great results with 140 main and 25 pilot with the DJ needle set in the fourth position and the DJ spring.
