Greg. If you only un-plug the clutch lever switch, the bike will start:
Only in neutral, with side stand up or down.
This would not let you use the starter during an intersection stall, until you found neutral. {not recommended}
If you disconnect (clutch switch) and jumper the two clutch switch leads, thebike will start:
Both in neutral or in gear. Side stand up only. {jumper recommended}
