Hi all, been a while, Just an update. I have 93,000 kms on the big 950 now and I think I can answer the reliability question with a little bit of authority now. The bike is very reliable. I have done fuel pump, water pump, cam chain tensioners (15 minute job), and about 10 tires (that is related to the right wrist position). I just came back from a two week trip to California and the bike never missed a beat. Still turns heads after 12 years. I think I have another 12 years left in the bike. A big thumbs up to KTM 950 KTMken https://khansen.smugmug.com/California-Motorcycle-Trip/New-folder-2/i-9R6hmDC/A

Just crossed the 60,000km mark on my 990, of the 8 valves, only one needed a slight adjustment ! Zero major issues, incredibly reliable bike.

Just got my 950 back from the suspension shop in time to help with the C+ route for the Loose Screw. Hats off to Geoff (Rider's Edge / GP Moto) - the bike is like a trophy truck now! The 950 is pretty new to me having only ridden a bit of street with it last year. So far very impressive machine.....
