Get the Wings mufflers. I only paid $475 cdn for mine. They are exactly the same as Akro's and are made in the same factory. Raise your needle one notch too and do the canister thing. Go to www.advrider.com on the Orange crush forum for more info. Get some crash bars too. You will fall over in the dirt. The tanks are $1800 per side :shock:. Also the KTM gel seat is a steal and very comfy.

I had traded my black '04 950 for a 1200GS and regret it now. The GS is a great all around bike but the 950 can do the same thing. The 950 was more fun to ride and sounded awesome with the Wings cans. I am going for the new 990 next year. I miss coming home from a ride with a big grin on my mug

I have the Remus Ti cans (which I still haven't gotten around to installing yet). But the canistectom has been done awhile back. The Factory jet kit is also a popular option. Tho no clear concensus as to if its really needed. On my bike, no jet kit just 1 clip on the needle. Although my choice of exhaust is a bit biased. Used to work with Max Moto in San Francisco, the NA Remus importer. Knut (MaxMoto owner) also rides an 04 950S, so they know the bike pretty well.

I also got the Scotts steering damper on the way. Bit pricey but the improvement in handling and feel is worthwhile.

And the best bang for the buck mod... 16T front sprocket.

VMS did not have any 950's left. He sent me to Nelson (that is where I am now)

I am looking forward to going for a ride with the Kelowna riders. Maybe we should get together for coffee sometime.

No wonder I didn't recognize the background in the picture of your bike...lol. I was talking to James at VMS and he said they were suppose to get in the new Adventure but I guess you couldn't wait huh... It must be cold in Nelson tonight, its suppose to get down to -10 here tonight. Have a safe trip home and we will have to schedule a meet for coffee and plan a ride.

they are getting in a 06 950 which is (I believe) identical to the 05.5. This is what the rep at the bike show was telling me, anyway.

Kootenay sleds and wheels gave me a deal, I couldn't refuse.

The 990,s arenot supposed to be here until 07
