Less expensive in Canada you say?!

I am getting ready to buy me a new big bike, the mother of them all, a new BMW 1200 GSA. I ride way too much and tend to pile on the miles. Since I live a long ways from anywhere, and spend my time riding I have no real local dealer and am just as likely to have service work done in Texas as Toronto. Soooooooooooo I was thinking with the Canadian dollar as it is and the ease of getting a bike into Canada lets look south....unless I am missing something its pretty darn close buying up here and we are keeping our money at home. I am shocked and surprised :clap: that the prices were so close once you take into account tax and all the good stuff and we universal have health care too.

Glad to read that you did your research and discovered that the Canadian pricing can be 'close enough'.

I know that our friends at DSBC's sponsoring BMW shops would love to win your business.

Thank you for trying to keep it your $$ in Canada (where I also like our infrastructure & social safety net...)

Yeah North I have/had a 1150 GS big but, good, sold it to a local inmate. For my sort of road miles I like the beasts. Why do you ask?

Since you already have a GS, I don't have to tell you what great Bikes they are.

I have an 05 1200GS and it's a great street Bike and I have been told that the 1200GSA's feel more planted on the road.
