Locked up.... At 120km

My ktm 530 2010 locked up on the hwy today and I just about came off.. My question is to you is as anyone had this happen to them with a bike that's done 5000kms not high kms.. So not sure really. Will crack the case late tonight to see if its the box or piston. Kick start is solid, clutch still works locked in all gears and even in top gear. I suspect piston.. If so, as any one done a big bore kit..? I

I had a , not a lock up at speed, but a "mild" sieze (would still turn over, but hard) when starting cold. It was grinding, so I packed up the bike and took it home. Tore it down and the nicasil coating on the cylinder wore a touch which caused galling and the seize. New piston and cyl required.

If you have a buddy with an endoscope, you can put it into the spark plug hole for a looksee.

Nope wasn't that, upgrade was done some time ago, when I did the toqure limiter... No bloody idea really. But looking at heating thumper 570 big bore kit, and a new crank and better mains for sure.. Cracked the casings and the box and everything else seem fine.. It looks likes the main bearing spread? Drained both box and motor. And oils were where they should be.. Oil was not the issue
