I'll be there.

I've been looking forward to this since you first posted it.

I've never been on an organized ride, never mind a pre-ride. Should I bring tools (shovel, machete, dynamite)? Or is it just about making sure the route makes sense.

Either way, its a chance to get muddy.

Food.....

And a small fold-up saw just might come in handy.

I'm going to stop at Crapy Tire and bick up a folding Sweed-saw.

I will be doing some mapping of theroute on Sunday which should be about 100km in the morning and a little more in the afternoon.Ifyou go for the full route it is about 150km in the morning and the same in the afternoon.

Do you have something new we should hear about? (Ahh, I see it in your profile, very nice. Welcome back!)

The first50k of the route from "The LOT" is already mapped.

This is the area we will be excluding on Sunday.

SO prolly about 110k to the first fuel stop from the Petro Can.

I have been debating on slipping on a new rear. I just put one on a few weeks ago. Thought I would get 3 rides out of it....but that aint gunna happen.

SO Sat I will spoon on a new Kenda .:gaah:

That was agood run today. Great to see some of the coastal units come up and join us. They drove 3 hours in the morning to get here, rode with us for 8 or 9 hours, and then drove home (Al and Kerry are tired guys tonight I think).

It's a good time of year to ride - mostly it's dry but the mud holes are still exciting (as I can attest to).

I hope there's a bunch of pics but I bet we won't see them tonight.

Thanks guys, great day. :bliss:

apologize for the dust?, yes you are the Joker, and no I don't believe you. Never bet against John Harper no matter what he's riding, and pleeze don't tell the beemer crowd or we'll never hear the end to it.(GS800! over a friggin tree)

remember everyone, including those from Slurry, the ride was lousy, no fun, and we would have all been better off staying home working round the house.

(shhh was that a friggin gas or what, shhh)

That truly was an amazing day of riding , and what a long day it was!

Thank you to Joker650 and Dorky for making this ride happen. Al and I really enjoyed riding with all seven of the nicest dual sporters in Kamloops.

I did manage to eat plenty of Joker's dust as evidenced by my air filter: (yes, I cleaned it just before the ride)

I spent the day today cleaning the mud out of my bike and getting my horn working again. (mud made it's way into the switch):shoot:

Now she looks pretty again

I can't remember his name but I know he had a nice KLX400 :D

I would love to ride in beautiful Kamloops again and look forward to going back.:cross:
