Lower seat for KLR650 or Lower Suspention Kit

I am looking for a lower seat for my KLR650 (04)

I prefer a lower seat than the lower suspension kit, but if I have to go with the suspension kit, well....I will have to.

Do you know where can I find a seat on the net ?

Lee Bunce of The Recovery Room Upholstery shop in Williams Lake is a KLR rider and makes great seats. Contact him at 250-398-5030. I have one of his seats and it's great! He can make it lower, wider, whatever you want. He builds it on your seat pan.

I talked with the guy and the seat is very cheap $165 + tax. It will lower it 1 inc.

Any good upholstery shop should be able to rebuild your seat with denser foam, cut down to reduce the seat height, etc. The benefit that I saw in Dr. Lee's seats were that he rides a KLR and went through about 4 different versions to get the optimal seat. Good luck in whatever you choose.
