I'd like to put some miles on the big bike so will be leaving Millstream Centre after 10:00 AM. You know the Serious Coffee there? Meet there at 10:00 - mostly pavement. Lunch at Port Renfrew or Lake Cowichan.

I think Bearhugger is riding out that way to map part of the Orca C loop. You could ride part way together.

Enjoy the ride, forecast is for sunshine. :ss:

Depending on the weather, I might be taking the cage to map it. Could just do that anyway so even if there is snow, I can still map it.

Is the whole C loop gate free? I could take my truck and GPS and see what the snow conditions are like.

I'll still be doing the loop on my bike though. I need to get these miles on it.

Bike first, truck later?

A few gates usually open until fire season. Easy to get around on a bike but not likely with your truck.

I was heading home at 930am, saw Brian on the highway, stopped by for a coffee but was too early I guess. Going for a ride and picnic around East Sooke this aft with a squeeze on the pillion. Well I'd better get out there and lube the chain. Looks like a good day ahead! ;)

Hi,

I think you were the group I met briefly in Port Renfrew.

I would love to join you next time. I do have to take the Ferry crossing in consideration though.

Yes that was us. We had just finished lunch at the Kitchen Corner/Corner Kitchen (sp?) When we saw your HP2 go by and thought we'd give chase.

Just keep an eye open for a posting.
