Max 17" dirt tire on XR650L

Does anyone know the max tire size to fit on the front? I think about 4.5 inches clearance. Will a 120/90/17 rear knobby tire work? I know the 120/70/17 street tire fits. I can't find anywhere online with actual measurments of width.

I'm trying to find a tire to fit on the front of my XR650L with SUMO wheels. I ordered the TKC80 150/70/17 for the back and a 130/80/17 for the front, but it's too wide for the old school (non inverted) fork.

Also, why the heck can I only get a TKC80 120/90/17 in every continent other than North America?

I couldn't fit a TKC80 130/17 (rear) on the front and North America doesn't supply a 120/17. Go figure the rest of the world does. So I put an IRC 4.60/17 (rear) on the front. Just went around the block on the street with them, but they feel good so far.
