Wondering if anyone has some feedback on these Metzler Enduro 3 tires running them on a KLR, DR, BMW or other 650cc dualsport bike.

Looking for info on their street and dirt performance as well as how long a set is likely to last. :ted:

I ran them on my KTM 640. They are a nice tire, but they are not meant for much more than gravel. They wear well on pavement. If you you are going to do a lot of off-road stuff, I would not recomend them for you. If you are going to stay on pavement and gravel roads, you will like them.

I had them on my Dakar and really liked them on road and on gravel, good feed back andconfidence inspiring. I changed them at 15,000KM and they still had good life left.

They couldn't clean themselves of muck and muddy grass was very slippery.

Went to Conti TKC-80s after that.

Thanks guys,

I'm running Conti TKC80's now and I absolutely love them. The front will last well but the rear has me a bit nervous with only 1000k and some noticeable wear to the tread.:?

Could just be the "cost of doin' business" given that TKC's aresuch a great off road tire with really predictable performance on both wet and dry asphalt.

I don't want to go back to the lose front end that I had with the Trailwings when off road....Contis have definitely shown that they can provide a "best of both worlds" experience...if they last well, I'll be very happy. :dr:

The Metzeler's look like they'll have a bit more bite than the Trailwings for off road.

Hey Ken,

What highway is this...looks like a cool area to ride!

What pressure are you running them at? I found they liked to be aired up.

That is highway 99, between Pemberton and Lilloett. This highway is a "must do" for any rider in BC

I agree with Ken's observation. I ahd them on my 640 Adventure and they were great on the road, OK on the gravel, and suicide on mud.
