Moab May 2009

[SubMann]

baddog, blocker, omi and SubMann went to Moab for 7(!) days of riding. We had some interesting late afternoon thunderstorms, but that helped to keep the temperatures below what should have been brutally hot.

One of the more epic days was to rid the White Rim Trail.

We also spent a day "Behind the Rocks"

All in all a lot of fun and good laughs. Two more people discovered this incredible playground.

From the stories I heard this morning... sounds like an interesting adventure!The pics bring good memories. Planning to go back this fall, did 1/3 of the White Rim trail but had to turn back as night approached, left it too late in the day. Riding down the side of Island in the Sky mesa in pitch black with a useless headlight is something I hope not to repeat! Spectacular country you can ride forweeks and not see it all.
