Looks like you hit pretty hard. Hope you fared better than the bike.From the pic it looks like you've sheared off the oil drain plug.There is an after market low profile plug that doesn't hang below the skid plate like the stock one. It aso has a magnet to catch stray metal bits.Cost was around 15 bucks. Good luck with the repairs.

I fared much better than my bike, I stayed on the bike after bouncing off the fuel tank and flailing around briefly with both feet in the air. If I hadn't stayed on the bike I'm sure I'd have been hurt much worse than my bike.
I'm sure my lack of injury is a matter of luck, not a matter of skill. I'm going to buy a pressure suit.
As for the frame, well, it might be fixable. The bottom of the left side tube is flattened and pushed up about 10mm. Skid plate is a goner as is the left engine case. Motor is certainly fixable.

Having punched the bottom end and suffering the same fate I cut the plug down to about 1/3 size befor re-installing it. My skid plate is quite mangled now but all is still good.
still cost a couple grand to havethe motordone right but can't belive a recessed plug isn't standard and the plastic skid plate, well that is an invitation to stuff the case.(designed by the evil empire no doubt)
I'm still quite nervous when waterbars come into view and the only option is to loft it and hope(pray).
Anybody have a better solution to end of travel lock , does a progressive spring help here?
I havedark thoughtsof the 2 or 3 day walkout should it happen to me again.(somewhat likly in this part of the world)
