backtracking from barstow to Chaparral in Bernardino my trip took a huge change. besides getting the new tire installed in very quick time (lazy me) the moto z GPS tire has about solved all the handling issues I've been having wa-hoo! clearly the pirelli scorpion mt90 was not at all up to the task of handling the loaded 990 unlike the moto z which clearly is.
just spent a few days at the ADV nubie rally at panamint springs resort located in death valley. had terrific fun couple days of riding with a small group of great guys, though pranged up my front rim pretty good yesterday.
on the road towards home now in Winnemucca Nevada now.

We must have just missed you, It is April 1 and we are camping here at Panamint Springs Death Valley, bunch of ADV riders here too. We are heading East toward Moab today. Slow internet connection ere so having problems loading photos

that's a coupla near misses we've had. I left yesterday morning. there were 250 riders at the event.
had a 1000k plus day yesterday and in keremeos now. home this afternoon.
