*pounces Shewolf* Hey you =3

I'm really impressed with the WR250R, right now it's a toss up between the TE450 and the WR250, I'm still having a hard time deciding.

Oh, har har *pokes Shewolf* It's not my fault there are so many kick ass bikes out there... And I'm a bit weary about going smaller than 400... My 440 doesn't instill much confidence in small caliber bikes...

Your 440 is also what...20 some odd years old? And a street bike? Bikes have come a LONG way since that relic. This 250 impresses me more and more each time I ride it.:p

Yeah 18 hp and 430 something lbs... it's a slow ass, small calibre pig.

Tibarus, make sure whatever you get says "MC" in the TYPE category on the frame tag. Dualsporting whatever bike ( TYPE RUM ) is looking like a risky propositionthese days.

There's a guy on U-Tube selling a turbo for the WR250. The bike puts out close to 60h.p. The video shows him pull roll on wheelies at speed. I guess it would be fun while the engine lasted.

The bike already has 38 something horsepower, do you really need more?

A friend of mine was nice enough to lend me his 08 WR250R for a week while he rests his ankle. I've only one thing to say about the bike

WOW!

This bike is AMAZING, it's so smooth on the throttle and the suspension in the standard (stock) settings absorb pretty much anything and everything you throw at it with little or no rebound, she throws wheelies EFFORTLESSLY in every gear up to 3rd, maybe even 4th if you were to hit it perfectly and SHE LEANS oh god how she leans!

This bike is FULL of surprizes, namely her power, it caught me off guard more than once and she's a fast little firecracker. I was doing 120 across the knight street bridge earlier today and I put the power on and suddenly I was doing 150 out and down the exit to Victoria drive and the bike still had more to give! She's almost as fast as my RD! For the record I'd like to appologise to the little old lady in the Coup De'Ville I blew past in the George Massey Tunnel... I didn't mean to scare you half to death.

Needless to say I'm 100% sold on this little bike, I'll be picking up a new one come January.

The ONLY bad thing I have to say about this bike is that I have to give her back to her owner on Friday... That and the tires that came with the bike could have been better (fine for the road, but it's obvious that they'd get bunged up in the loose stuff) Other than that the WR250R is perfect.
