I think that's the european version. A 'C' model. Bigger front brakes, smaller gas tank, sport fairing, 'flow through skid plate.

Nothing a few cans of spray paint and some wax can't fix. And maybe some bigger brakes etc. That is a nice looking bike!

Yep, It is a "C" model. Here is a pic of my 2000 KLR650C with an Acerbis tank and aftermarker "A" model happy trials skid plate:

That's sure is a nice looking Acerbis tank. Does it fit with stock mounts? Is your seat stock? It looks a lot longer at the nose than my one.

The tank fits right on with no mods but it is for the "C" model KLR not the "A" model.
