Correct. It's good to miss the initial start / gong show. The line-up for tickets is painfully long no matter when you start.
We'll be under the care of Drill Sergeant Neil - that means 'up at dark oh-five hundred', so we'll likely be there for 7ish. To his credit, Neil explains that this helps us get in our 2-3 laps of the course:shock:before
drinking I mean hitting the road for our long return drive.
Be prepared for theweather conditions (all 3 seasons): The start can be surprisingly cold. The rain can come in at velocity sideways. The sun can get you pretty warm. The dust and lack of vision is brutal. The mud and water crossings are 'sporty'. (We typically get all these conditions each time we attend!)
