Hey kamloops:)

Just wondering if the snow has melted off the trails around Duffy Lake?
Looking for a spot I can ride my 2-stroke, maybe I'm wishful thinking but...?
Anyone?

The pictures on the GKMA FB of Duffy Lake this weekend looked pretty open. Worst case you load the bike and rip for 30 minutes, have some fun, and go home. Better than couch surfing.

Haha Bora,
I live in Edmonton so to just load up, drive 12 hrs, for a 30 min ride is a little silly;) lol
But than again, it would get me off the couch:)

I do appreciate your input, think I may be a bit early for offroad riding.

Just have to stick to the lower levels and avoid areas with shade....tough to find around sunny Kamloops.
See the snow level in the Sunpeaks Village webcam, approx 4,100' : http://www.sunpeaksresort.com/weather-and-cams/web-cams

Methinks Reid is employing a wee bit of misdirection. Amazing riding was had yesterday in the Kamloops-ish area, lovely loamy dirt, no dust and only the merest hint of snow in the extra shady spots.

But besides all that it really sucked. Don't come here! ;)

ok David's got it! Da rest of you bum's-FAIL! Airborne, we have some pretty ok spring like conditions right now, If you like circling your truck in the pits for 3 hr's on a 100 foot track! just kidding, it's pretty good, come and enjoy, just don't come and destroy. Sign up for the loose screw in august, we WILL make sure you go home to the PATCH with a why don't i live there smile on your face!

Cool. I am pretty careful to stay on trails and I dont leave a mess behind me unless one of your gnarly hills scares the crap out of me:)
I have signed up for the loose screw event a few years back.
And I already wanna live there!!!!
I've ridden around there a couple times in Aug and its great compared to flatland here:(
Thx
