This time 4 kamloopsians with Floyd Brent Stu and, the newest member to this gang of 690's, Moi.
We headed up towards Lac Le Jeune then across towards Inks then Greenstone, crossing the creek we all understand may be, raging...
floyd and brent.
Not long into the ride approaching Greenstone mt. we came to the stream. With three bikes having splashed thru to the other side Stu was frantically trying to set up and get a pic. of my crossing and had me wait so he could get ready. According to Murphy you know what happened, not enough "Mo"(mentum) = a midstream bobble that needed a full stop left foot dab which landed on what felt like a medium sized round rock. With the left foot precariously planted and holding the weight of the bike well towards that left foot and with the clutch lever pulled and squishing my finger, front brake pinned to hold the bike, I was essentially, stuck. Stu kindly came over (after a quick pic.) and pulled the bike upright allowing me to ride it out, thx Stu. If by myself I would've had to lay it down in the creek, just to pick it up again.

our lunch stop, complete with fresh firewood and toilet paper strewn all over the place!
good fun ride across the south bench to Wallachin where we dropped down to cross the Thompson river.

"c'mon Wayne you can beat the train". Sure heard that a few times as a kid.
After a quick gas stop we headed up Sabiston Cr. rd towards red lake and then back towards the Loops. Tried a few roads along the way that were still a little early in the season. Here's Brent looking back as if wondering if he should be following Stu who just kept on going in the snow.

and Stu saying, c'mon guys we can do it... next time.
what started as a sunny day had turned cloudy before noon. Luckily I hadn't talked myself out of warm gear today. No new tricks, my ass!
On main roads now so the pictures kind of stop as we passed by red lake then thru tranquille valley and on into the burg that is Kamloops. Good fun ride good to be outside!
