overheating

KLX400R same as DRZ400E having an overheating problem at low speed or iddling

I was thinking about changing tthe water pump impeller, and also maybe using a high performance coolant (ice coolant type)

ANybody can advise, mainly if you had the same experience and also if some of you changed the impeller, could you explain how to please?

Your going to have to tell us more about the bike

Is it still stock, the engine

Have you re jetted it

mileage

when did you start noticing the overheating

Is it spewing water or just gurgling or do you have a gauge

The more information you can provide the better

Install a fan from the S model. :shock:You might have to replace fuel tank with a Clarke tank made for the S model which has space for the fan and add a thermostatic switch but it would do the job.
