Hey Scotty 905, probably similar to the stuff I used on my KLR: it was called Super HI HEAT PAINT by Dynamic, its listed uses is everything from wood stoves to engine blocks. The secret I found is to give it a good 24 hrs drying before you put the heat to her. Also just clean the pipe enough to get the dirt off, leave the old paint on as well as any light rust, this gives the new paint something to grab onto.

One thing I forgot to mention, I also have a can of brush on stuff which comes in handy for touch ups without removing the headpipe.
