As I was looking at how nice the Lynx Fairing was sitting pretty on the Red Head. I thought to myself that wouldn't be nice if I could quickly remove the Lynx and refite the dirt bike fairing that came with the bike. That way I can just do all single track all the time too. Am I asking too much? Lets see now
Once fitted the Lynx R Fairing is held on with only 2 bolts and 2 nuts. and one plug for all the power. All the bolts and nuts are very easily accessible 2x 10mm 2x12 mm and a simple two prong plug.
Instead of mounting the Voyager dash on the Lynx Fairing I will mount it to the upper handlebar clamp and make all the connections permanent,
First drill a couple of holes

Mount the Voyager

Check to make sure it all still works

And the stock fairing still fits perfectly

Only thing left on the bike is the Lynx lower mounting bracket, I will modify the stock fairing to fit this bracket
The whole process to remove and replace the fairings is less than 2 minutes with your two sockets on the ready.
