So I sits in the garage sipping on a Goblet of the Red Elixir, and Inhales some Cheap Cigar Smoke, contemplating the mounting of the new rubbers. Staring down at the forged steel weapons of mass destruction, an eerie sound beckons from the Pig's general direction. I make some deductions, I've had too much Elixir, possible but a borderline miscalculation at best. Nasty cigar is giving me a buzz, nope already have a buzz. Neighbours' cat is losing it, it will when I find it. The moaning (more like a low frequency squeal) sound definitely is coming from the Pig, and at a somewhat predictable interval. I've nailed the source down to the gas tank. I think I had heard this previously but higher pitched, and defied my delusion and just ignored it. Now curiosity gets the better of me, so more Elixir and Smoke. I pop the tank cap, and it almost seemed pressurized, I wait and the noise doesn't reoccur. I washed her and speed dried her around the block today, seemed to run like her normal Pig self. What has me worried is that I have two big rides upcoming, most of it probably Solo. Anyone else with a 2008 KLR had this happen, better yet should I be concerned?

Seems now due to cutbacks in the ol' Weights and Measures Department, I can hardly find a sticker on the pump anymore that proves anyone has ever tested it in the last decade, let alone to 15C.
