I figured I'd claim my own thread even though the first ride article will have a better first ride review. This thread is closer to home, and it'll get better content in the months to come.

I had to have it. I love the re-release of the Husqvarna street legal bikes, the look, design features like the integrated grab handles and composite sub-frame and the additional efforts to promoting the Husqvarna brand we've been seeing this year.

Now to set the bike up and find more time to ride in the dirt. I think we're going to have some fun together...

Tom if you get a new sewing machine you could try some of these moves:

Was looking at these the other day. I think i must have one! How are you enjoying yours?
The dealership in Chilliwack offered a "Bike Show Special" of no freight and pdi (pay "only" the list price)
or pay full price including the freight and pdi, but receive an in store credit for $700 to be used for whatever.
Not to pry, but oh heck I do wanna pry... May I ask how much of a discount you received on this bike?
They tell me that they have only one atm, which I tend to believe. I just don't want to pay too much for it.
That would completely sour the ownership experience.
Appreciate your help with this.

Threw a leg over one at the bike show. Holy crap I didn't think it was possible to make an mx seat less comfortable than the one I have on my '11 TE310, especially since I cut most of the foam out of mine to give me a little more room on the standover. Did they actually put any foam in the FE seat at all, or is it just vinyl over molded plastic?!? Yikes, you won't be spending much time sitting on that bike, I imagine.

I rode a friend's similar 350exc and found the seat similarly brick like, but the ergos were so totally perfect for standing that I only sat while starting off or weighting rear wheel for traction. What a machine! I am in love or lust, maybe both!

Still haven't gotten the bike properly dirty, but been tinkering with it a lot and riding it for stints around town. The stock street model gearing (14/45) feels way tall even on the street and calculates out to something above 200kmh I believe, so I bought the 13/52 dirt gearing and a new chain but haven't installed yet.

A bit after the first oil change I started to see a drip below one of the non-service used plugs at the bottom of the engine, and it turned out that it was had come slightly loose I guess, so a re-tightening fixed that.

Adam, those offers sound respectable to me, but I'm no expert on bike pricing.

The seat might get replaced or adjusted one day, but so far I'm not disliking it anymore than the stock DRZ or Corbin I was riding previous.

It would be good to see a few more of these bikes in use locally!
