Too Loong Dayz returns for it's fourth and is now a pure Rallybook event. JULY 23/24

Bring on your roadbooks, get together in small teams and safely navigate to camp. NO GPS TRACK WILL BE PROVIDED, THIS IS A RALLY TYPE EVENT. Prizes for closest track and closest time. (you must record and submit your track)

Join us for a hot meal, games area, campfires with a great breakfast and build your own lunch station. Hot showers & comfy bunks for everyone. I even through in a few bevvies for each rider.

All proceeds go to sending at risk youth to camp. COST is $150.00

How do we get there? Well thats half the fun... the first year was a lead ride and though we had a lot of fun it's a shitload of work and I want to have fun too! Thankfully year two I provided GPS tracks because I ruptured my Achilles only a few weeks before. In our third year we had full on Rallybook roadbooks but had GPS data on every tulip, this year you better hone your skills as there will be GPS coordinates only on key tulips. TLD Section #1 from 2021 is attached for your testing and practice, starts at the Husky Gas Bar Harrison Hotsprings. We do have an option this year to print roadbook rolls, more details to come.

Also this is NOT A RACE, this is a navigation event and there will be a prize for closest time? You need to move at a brisk pace but not excessive speed.

We have 6 cabins that normally sleep 14-25 people each. Last year guys stayed around 5-7 per cabin based on their riding group. This is the main reason we kept the number around 25 last and again this year. This way you maintain your own group. Meals are in our lodge that can feed 150 people so we again set up table for folks to sit in their groups as well.

Register now as space again is limited due to forecast PHO orders.

There will be more information for start point and route map closer to the event. You’ll get a chance to team up with other riders or form your own group, don’t worry!

Never heard of this before but I'm interested for sure.

So start point is near Harrison and the overnight spot at Silver Lake Camp, is this the one near Peachland..?

Where does the last day end at..?

Starts in the Fraser Valley, last three years from Harrison, maybe again maybe not. Yes, Silver Lake Camp above Peachland, stay in shared cabins with a shower house hot meals, cold drinks, maybe a swim in the Lake. Return to Fraser Valley Sunday. No stove, Tent or sleeping pad needed just bring your sleeping bag. At Breakfast Sunday you build a bag lunch fro the ride home.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this. Just getting the hang of the site.

I would like to practice this style of event. I get the basics. If anybody is interested in putting together a practice section in the lower mainland I would be willing to dedicate the time to help out. I would offer to do it myself but I don't want to waste time doing it wrong. Or is there a section from last year I can pre/post run to get the hang of it? But honestly, it would be cool to make a nice loop to practice navigation and just give people another reason to get out and ride. Maybe add a new route each year to keep it interesting? Just an idea.

First stage from the last year's event is attached to the first post. I would also be interested in some training runs to practice navigation and to test my ghetto roadbook switchboard.

Any more info on the event by chance? I'm registered, but I haven't been able to find much info in regards to start time, locations, when and how the roadbook will be distributed etc. Any info would be appreciated! Thanks! 🍻

Hi all,
Unfortunately, my riding partner has to bow out of this event. Is there anyone that wouldn’t mind me joining their group?

I’m on a KTM 790 ADV R and I’m generally good at navigating :)
Cheers,
Saar

Sorry posted up on FB group here are the deets so far.....

You determine the start time andnI recommend the early the better, if you arrive at the lake sooner there is more time to enjoy it. Roadbooks are published Monday before the event in digital pdf for all electronic roadbook readers and for print, cut n paste for manual boxes. Please ride with at least a partner this is an unsupported route. I am scouting routes now but heavy snow has delayed it and fire and rain events have made many changes necessary.
