Appreciate that you tried to reply Offworlder, but I also cannot reply to your reply other than in a new post. Will contact (just did?) the admn. people and see if there is in the programming a box to check to allow replies. I also cannot start a conversation (pm) to certain people. There's likely a few little tweaks needed before the new site is fully functioning.

If you can't start conversation with certain people, it's because they have chosen to only start conversations with people THEY follow. It's a privacy setting some choose to use.

As for Blogs - new forum doesn't threat them in a same way old forum did and plan was to move blogs into existing layout, i.e. trip reports etc. and remove blog section permanently. My suggestion would be to avoid using any blog sections for any future posts, threat it as archive until it's moved into the new forum structure.
