Reviving Old Threads? Your thoughts please

At the last DSBC exec meeting I agreed to revive some favourite but older threads. You will find them under Blast from the Past https://forum.dualsportbc.com/forums/blast-from-the-past.354450/

As you all should already know that posting a great ride report with pictures does not last long on Facebook, it just gets lost under all the other crap going on there. However here on the DSBC forum we can save a ride report indefinitely. Over the years with software upgrades lots of links to the pictures of these reports have gotten broken. For those reports where the pictures where uploaded to the members albums here on the DSBC forum, we have all those pictures from about 2003-4.

It takes time to clean up the broken links and I am getting older. What I would like to know if you think it is worth my time to fix up some of these old ride threads and move them to a new location here on the DSBC site? Do you think they might serve a purpose for newcomers to our sport?

I think it's fantastic Tom. There's so many great ride reports here on the forum that were fun to read the first time and each subsequent time. I think the Reid's gloves thread should be preserved as well.....
